Husband-and-wife owners, Sandra Tavares DaSilva and Jorge Serodio Borges, founded this unique winery in 2001, which focuses on high quality terroir and fruit sources. Due to the steep grade of the slopes and the narrow width of the terraces, all grapes must be picked by hand. The fruit is foot-trodden and yields fine, silky tannins due to this gentle process resulting in some of the greatest varietals in Portugal’s best-known wine region, Douro Valley. Join Douro’s first female winemaker, Sandra Tavares as she hosts an incredible dinner featuring these magnificent wines, paired with an inspired menu from Chef Bruce.
