Marchese Mario Incisa della Rochetta, first planted cabernet grapes in Bolgheri in 1944 for personal consumption. His wines were not released commercially until 1968. Tenuta San Guido is widely known for being the first ‘super-tuscan’ and in 1994 was given its own DOC. This winery’s soil is similar to the Graves area of Bordeaux with its gravely soil that is known for producing incredible cabernet sauvignon. Granddaughter and family ambassador, Priscilla Incisa, joins us for the first time as we celebrate an evening of Sassicaia, with ‘06, ‘12, ‘13, ’14 and ‘15 vintages. This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity and is not to be missed.
